The A5H active ingredient combination

Building on years of research and development, SANOPAL combines alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) and 5-HMF (5-hydroxymethylfurfural) in a formulation that is unique worldwide.

Conversion of nutrients into energy (ATP)

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties

Reduction of oxidative cell damage

Oral solution for fast and efficient utilization of active ingredients.

Alpha-Ketoglutarate

Alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) is a key intermediate in the citric acid cycle, a fundamental metabolic pathway for converting nutrients into energy (ATP). In addition to its central role in energy production, AKG acts as a metabolic regulator with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It supports the regulation of cellular antioxidant mechanisms, modulates inflammatory processes, and studies show that AKG supplementation can improve mitochondrial function and slow biological aging.1,2

5-Hydroxymethylfurfural

5-Hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF) improves the oxygen affinity of hemoglobin and thereby contributes to improved oxygen supply in the blood, particularly under hypoxic conditions. In addition to these effects, antioxidant properties have also been described, including the scavenging of free radicals and the reduction of oxidative cell damage. Studies also suggest that 5-HMF may influence inflammatory processes, cellular signaling pathways, and cell proliferation.3,4
